Hi there! I hope you all had a nice, relaxing weekend. And if you didn’t, hopefully you can get by on the promise of a short work week! I have Thursday (obviously) and Friday off, so I’m pretty excited.
Each day from tomorrow through December 24th, a different blogger will be holding a giveaway for a $100 shopping spree to Swanson Vitamins. You can check out the list of participating bloggers here. (The series kicks off tomorrow with Savoring Every Bite; I’m coming up on December 15th!)
I really love Swanson Vitamins! They have tons of stuff to choose from (vitamins, beauty products, health foods and snacks, etc.), and the prices are so reasonable. Trust me, the $100 winnings will go a long way!
Alright, let’s get to it…
I woke up Saturday morning and contemplated going to the gym for about 10 minutes before deciding no, it wasn’t happening. I had some cleaning to do, plus a few other things on my to do list, so I decided to skip it.
Instead, I prepared a breakfast of coffee (duh), a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios Medley Crunch, and a few munchkins leftover from Friday morning.
After I was done cleaning and getting ready for the day, Chris and I headed to our local outlets. I had a 60% off coupon for Ann Taylor LOFT plus a $20 rewards card, so I had to get a little shopping done. I also picked up a few holiday soaps at the Bath and Body Works outlet.
After church, Chris and I went to dinner at a local Italian place. I had lobster ravioli and it was delicious. We also split a cannoli which was wonderful, too; I wish I had taken a picture!
First thing this morning I was up and at ‘em and off to the gym.
I doubled up and did two classes—BodyVive and BodyPump.
After the gym, I ran to Target and the grocery store for our weekly shopping. Thankfully, we didn’t need much since we’ve got Thanksgiving this week.
After I got home and unloaded the groceries, it was time to warm up with some pug snuggles.
Soon I was ravenous and needed lunch immediately. I had made a salad at the grocery store salad bar, and I also heated up a few raviolis I had leftover from last night’s dinner.
The rest of my day has been spent doing Sunday things—laundry, catching up on e-mails, balancing the checkbook (am I the only person who still does this?), and of course, blogging.
I also had a cup of tea mid-afternoon to try to warm up (did I mention it’s 30* out today?!).
I’ve got a few more things I want to knock off of my to do list, then I’ll be all about relaxing.
What’s your favorite Italian dish? Lobster ravioli ranks pretty high for me!
