Hi there, friends!
I was planning on popping in last night for What I Ate Wednesday, but it never happened. I was going to do a quick “photo dump,” but then I realized I barely had any photos to dump. Whoops.
This will probably (?) be my last post before the half! I may get around to posting tomorrow, but my empty Vera duffle is telling me that isn’t going to happen.
My sister and I are both so excited! I love Disney World (if you don’t, you have no soul), so a quick visit to the happiest place on earth paired with finally running the half is going to be amazing.
Yesterday, I stopped by the gym for a “quick” 2 mile run. Ever since last Saturday, my right knee has been feeling a little “off.” I can’t quite put my finger on it, but it just doesn’t feel 100%. Needless to say, I didn’t push myself during the 2 miles and stopped to walk a few times when I realized my knee was bothering me. I’m taking a rest day today – and likely tomorrow too – and plan to ice it a few times and hope for the best!
As for yesterday, today, and tomorrow I’m in full-on prep mode. Any teachers can attest to the fact that planning to be out is waaay more work than planning to be in. Getting sub plans and worksheets together is a pain. The fact that I’m a control freak and feel my classroom will crumble to ruins without me doesn’t help.
I’m just rambling now and I’ve still got a long list of to-dos for this evening, so I better get to it.
