Fitnessglo: Review + Giveaway
18 Feb
You guys… I’m so excited about tonight’s review/giveaway! I’ve really come to love the Fitnessglo website and I can’t wait to offer you all the opportunity to try it too!
I guess I’m getting ahead of myself though, huh?
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Fitnessglo, it’s a website that has a (seemingly endless) library of online video classes.
The website was created for women, by women (although there are male instructors!) because who knows better than another female just how hectic life can get?
There are so many features I love about Fitnessglo!
There are a variety of workout styles to chose from. They offer everything from strength to balance work to cardio. My favorite classes are those that are danced-based because I love to dance but I am too shy to take a Zumba or dance-style class at my gym!
One awesome new addition to the line-up? Barre classes! I haven’t tried one of these yet, but I am so excited to do so. I’ve taken one barre-style class before and loved it, but there are no studios around me that offer it. Now, I can complete a barre workout in the comfort of my living room.
In addition to having a variety of workout styles, classes are offered in a variety of durations (you can also search by teacher and fitness level).
Class lengths range from 5 minutes (I did a quick 5 minute stretch today!) to 45 minutes. This makes it easy to choose something quick if you’re short on time, or enjoy a longer workout when your schedule is clear. I also like to combine a few short workouts to enjoy a variety of exercises.
Fitnessglo also offers a “Balance Tracker” which allows users to record their exercises to ensure they’re getting a good balance between strength, cardio, and stretching.
If you’re someone who travels a lot, Fitnessglo could be an awesome – and affordable – investment. Instead of having to worry about whether or not there will be a workout facility in your hotel (or if there is a gym, what condition it may be in), you can rely on Fitnessglo to provide an effective workout in any location and at any time.
Going back to affordability… a subscription to Fitnessglo is $12/month. Compared to most gym memberships, that’s relatively cheap! If you’re just starting to get into fitness and not ready to commit to a gym membership, Fitnessglo may be perfect for you. Although I was provided with a free trial for this review, I plan to continue my Fitnessglo membership after the trial’s expiration. Even though I belong to a gym and go pretty regularly, I appreciate the ease of being able to workout in my own home from time to time!
I feel like I could go on and on about what I like about this service, but you’re probably wanting me to cut to the chase and get to the giveaway.
Fitnessglo is offering one For the Sake of Cake reader a free, 90-day membership.
There are four ways to enter:
- Visit the Fitnessglo website and leave a comment telling me which style of workout you’d most like to try.

Since you started me tipping the Fitnessglo site it sounded interesting!! There are SO nights that getting to the gym just doesn’t work and this site sounds great! I want to check it out!! I already follow you on Twitter and I started following FitnessGlo and I tweeted about your contest. I’ve never tried a Barre class like you talked about and that sounds like something I’d like along with being able to vary my workouts and get to strength train at home when I can’t make it to the gym. Thanks for filling me in on this site!! Pick me!!
hehe.
I’ve wanted to try barre for the longest time now!
