Year in Review: 2012

Welcome to the last day of 2012! Time flies, doesn’t it?
In honor of the closing of 2012 and start of 2013, I thought it would be fun to take a look back on the past year.
I kicked of 2012 with a yummy breakfast recipe – cake batter overnight oats.
The deliciousness didn’t stop there, though! Chris and I visited a new-to-us restaurant, Blackfish, for one of the best meals ever. (We still talk about this meal, even though it was almost a year ago!)
In February, I turned 26 on Super Bowl Sunday… my favorite holiday! (FYI – I’m being totally sarcastic!)
In May, I attended the Zella Day of Movement event hosted by my local Nordstrom and got quite the workout!
I also hosted Mother’s Day brunch, which was a first for me.
In June, I recorded my first vlog, which sort of touched on the craziness Chris and I have dealt with in terms of home buying.
A few weeks later, we finally moved into a house!
On August 6th, Chris and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary with an overnight stay at Revel in Atlantic City and a delicious dinner at Amada.
At the end of August, I was sad to have to head back to work but I created one of my favorite fall breakfasts to get me up and running each morning!
In September, I announced that I registered for the Disney Princess Half Marathon.
I still can’t believe the event is under 2 months away; I’ll have to request my time off from work soon… ah!
In October, we made it through Hurricane Sandy relatively unscathed (thankfully!).
And to close out the year, I celebrated both Thanksgiving and Christmas with my family!

Wow! It’s crazy to think that just 6 months ago you were house shopping! Time goes way too fast haha
