Quick Update
4 Aug
Hey everyone! Just popping in for a quick weekend update! I wanted to share a few things that I’ve been absolutely loving lately.
First up, chocolate chunk Chobani.
Have you guys tried this stuff yet?! A-mazing! I received these from the kind people at Chobani when they saw my enthusiastic tweet about the stuff. I just saw it for the first time this past week at my local Target, so keep your eyes peeled & definitely pick some up when you see it; you won’t be sorry.
Next, Vega Energizing Smoothies. I’ll be doing a thorough review of these smoothies in the next few days, but in the meantime I wanted to share that they get two thumbs up from me! Even though they’re meant to simply be combined with water (or milk), I’ve been incorporating lots of other yummy add-ins to really take the smoothies over the top.
Green smoothies always taste better than they look.
Last but not least, my latest overnight oats creation – peaches, blueberries, peanut butter, & a little touch of brown sugar & honey… so good!
With that, I have to get moving! On tonight’s agenda is church, followed by pizza & cake eating! My parents are bringing over the top tier of our wedding cake tonight (it’s been in the freezer at their house for the last year)! Since our anniversary is on a Monday, we’re digging in a few days early. Then, the celebration will continue tomorrow… Chris & I have tickets to the Phillies game & then a night at Revel in Atlantic City to celebrate our first year of marriage.
I’ll be back on Monday. Enjoy the weekend!

We’re actually going to the Sunday afternoon game today! But we’re hoping for another win! Two wins in a row is a very rare thing this season!!
That it is
It really is a super sad season. I kind of just expect a loss some nights, which I know is terrible!!

Well, we saw a win! It was a great game!
Need to get my hands on that Chobani chocolate! That sounds amazing.
Can’t wait to see how the wedding cake tastes. We got married in our hometown – many miles from our current home – and my mom refused to mail the cake we saved, haha. I made her, my stepfather and my little brother eat it while we Skyped.

It is seriously good!!!
Aw, that’s a bummer. I imagine the cake might not have traveled well! Our cake was pretty good! Definitely couldn’t tell that it was a year old!
Glad you’re loving VCC! It’s my personal favorite, and such a great dessert replacement. Also, so fun to bake with!
