The Sunshine Award

Hey everyone!

I had planned to do a vlog this evening, but I’ve been bumming around in gym clothes with no makeup on all day, so I figured I’d protect you all from that sight. ;-) Look for a vlog later this week though!

Yesterday, Alysha from She’s on the Run nominated me for the Sunshine Award.

Here’s how the award works:

This prize is awarded to “bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere.” As an award winner, there are a few rules to follow:

  • Thank the person who gave this award and write a post about it. (Thank you Alysha!)
  • Answer the questions below.

So let’s get to it!

1. Favorite color? – Purple! I love the color purple so much that I made sure to incorporate it into my wedding last summer!

2. Favorite animal? – Dogs! I’m partial to pugs & boxers, but I love all dogs! My favorite animal – excluding pets – is an elephant; they’re always my favorite at the zoo.

3. Favorite number? – 5! My birthday is February 5th, so I’ve always liked the number 5.

4. Favorite color? – This question is on here twice! My second favorite color is pink.

5. Favorite drink? – This is a difficult one! Non-alcoholic would be unsweetened iced tea; alcohol would be Riesling.

6. Facebook or Twitter? – I can be found on both Facebook & Twitter! ;-)

7. What is your passion? – Writing!

8. Giving or getting presents? – I love when I’m able to think of the perfect gift for someone; seeing their reaction is priceless! But who doesn’t like to get gifts, too?

9. Favorite day of the week? – Friday! Particularly Friday afternoon when the whole weekend is ahead of me.

10. Favorite flower? – Hydrangeas! Another big component of my wedding!

    I like purple, too! Mainly because of the Ravens… :-)

    I’m really not a sugary drink person, but I LOVE milk. All of my friends think I am so weird, I just can drink so many glasses of it in a day!

    Awww, thanks for the nomination!!! And I LOVE hydrangeas too, but sadly can’t use them for my wedding because they are a such a spring/summer flower and our wedding is in November!
