Spring Fashion: Dresses

5 Mar

I’m starting to get a bad case of spring fever. We’ve had a relatively mild winter in PA this year, & we’re supposed to be reaching 67* on Thursday! Although I may have to wait a little while longer, I’m getting anxious to break out all of my favorite spring/summer clothes.

My absolute favorite spring staple? Dresses! Here are a few that I’m lusting over this season:

Lilly Pulitzer Adeline Dress – $198.00

I love this dress for several reasons. The ruffled collar reminds me of my bridesmaids’ dresses & I really like the soft, pink color.

Lilly Pulitzer has tons of fun, colorful dresses for sale, & lots of styles to choose from – there is really something for everyone! Also, if you’re a bride-to-be, I’d definitely check out the store’s white dress collection. I only wish it were around last year. They have lots of adorable, white dresses that would be perfect for a bridal shower or rehearsal!

LOFT Modern Pleated Skirt Dress – $69.50

A good majority of my warm-weather wardrobe consists of dresses from LOFT (LOFT Outlet, actually). This looks super comfortable, & I love how it incorporates a spring trend – pleats – in the look. I feel like I could wear this & not look like I was trying too hard to be trendy. Additionally, this could easily transition from work to “play.” The only reason why I’m not jumping to order this right away, is that I’m pretty certain I’ll be able to track down something similar at outlet price.

JCrew Circle Eyelet Dress – $228.00

Eyelet is one of my favorites; it’s simple & preppy! I really like this color, too. I don’t have too many blue items in my wardrobe, & I love that this is a bold, vibrant shade. This dress stood out to me because it puts a new spin on eyelet – how cute are the sleeves & neckline? $228.00 is a lot to spend though, so I probably won’t be purchasing this any time soon!

Last, but not least…

Old Navy Floral-Chiffon Keyhole Dress – $36.94

I find Old Navy to be hit or miss. I go through phases where I can stock up on tons of stuff, & then other times when I’m not all that impressed. After perusing the spring collection online, it’s safe to say I’ll definitely be stopping in to shop for the upcoming season!

Old Navy has a huge selection of dresses available – every style/print/material – from maxi to prints, to jersey, & more.

I liked this dress because I am all about flowy, comfortable dresses & I think this would look really cute with a distressed jean jacket!

Do you have spring fever? Are you dress-obsessed, like me?

Those are all *super* cute! ….I do like dresses but I don’t wear them all that often because of teaching the younger grades and all- and that I like a good pair of gym shorts and shirts during the summer!

I love that JCrew dress! I’m smitten with dresses in spring too, but am stick in a rut of cotton, simple dresses from Target (which I seriously love to live in) but I think these pretty, dressy options are necessary in my closet too!
