My First Meet-Up

5 Nov

This morning I had the opportunity to attend my first blogger meet-up! Since starting For the Sake of Cake back in June, I have yet to meet any of my fellow bloggers, so this was an exciting experience!

Lauren organized a get-together at the Hershey Pantry.

I live about an hour outside of Hershey, but I was happy to make the trip. And the good food & company definitely made the drive worth it!

If you’re a regular reader of Lauren’s blog, then you may have heard her rave about the Hershey Pantry’s baked oatmeal. I knew that’s what I was going to get before I even glanced at the menu!

The “special” baked oatmeal on today’s menu was a cherry/cream oatmeal. Several of us commented that we aren’t the biggest fans of cherry, but this oatmeal was perfect. The cherry flavor was “just enough” & not over-powering in the least!

A close up of the good stuff…

I have a feeling my own baked oatmeal might never taste the same after this stuff!

Before leaving, we got a group shot:

In attendance were:

I had such a fun time chatting & getting to know everyone & hope we can get together again soon! :-)

If you have a blog, have you ever attended any blogger meet-ups?
