Sunday Snapshots – 6/1

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a nice weekend! Can you believe it’s June 1st already?!

Here’s what I was up to this weekend…

On Friday night, Chris and I went out to dinner (no surprise there!). I started the meal with a watermelon wheat beer, and ordered the Key West Quesadilla appetizer (a shrimp quesadilla) as my entree.

I snapped this picture after I had already eaten one of the triangles. For an “appetizer,” this certainly filled me up and I even shared a “slice” with Chris. It was super tasty and I loved the guac/sour cream/pico that came with it.

Before we headed home, we had another round of drinks (Angry Orchard for me!).

Saturday started with Pump ‘n’ Step, then I eventually had to head out to have an insurance adjuster look at my car. He said it looks like they should be able to do all paintless dent repair for the super-low cost of just under $8,000—can you believe that?! Yikes.

Chris and I finished out the night at his parents house to celebrate his sister’s birthday. I ate way too much delicious food and had no problem passing out when I got home.

Today has been busy so far!

I went to a BodyVive class, then I had a list of errands to work through: Petco, Target, grocery shopping.

I was starving by the time I finished up our grocery shopping, so I stopped by Panera to pick up salads for lunch. Chris and I both got the strawberry poppy seed chicken salad.

After lunch I got a jump on laundry, did some cleaning, and took Stewie for a quick walk.

Hopefully, I’ll find some time to relax this evening. One occupant in my house seem to be really good at the relaxing thing…

Clearly, he thinks we bought this recliner especially for him (hence the blanket covering it!).

What did YOU do this weekend?

What is your favorite Panera salad?

That’s a crazy high quote for the dent repair! We had a wicked hail storm last summer (yes, SUMMER) and the damage to my car was about $3100 and the value it my car at that time was $3k. Luckily insurance covered it all but if there was only $100 more in damage I would have been able to write off my car!

Oh, I know, it’s insane! However, there are easily hundreds of dents + all of the chrome that frames my windows needs to be replaced because they can’t repair that. It stinks! Thank God for insurance.

lol he is crazy! My mom’s estimate was like 10K! (We were in the same parking lot at the time.)
