I can’t be the only one is disbelief that 2013 is coming to a close. While I’m not one to jump on any new, radical fad diets or exercise plans because of the New Year, I do like the chance to “start fresh” and re-start those healthy habits that may have fallen by the wayside during the holiday season.
Today, I’d like to share with you all a few ways I incorporate Designer Whey products into a healthy lifestyle. I’ve talked about Designer Whey before; both myself and Chris really love their products.
First up, their protein powder… the possibilities here are endless!
I like to blend it into a smoothie for a post-workout recovery or protein-filled snack.
Chris likes to mix it into plain Greek yogurt. You could make protein pancakes or protein snack bites—there really are tons of options! Designer Whey offers a variety of protein powder flavors; my favorites are the Vanilla Almond and Strawberry.
Next, their Protein 2 Go drink mixes…
It doesn’t get much more convenient than these packets. I like to keep a few stashed at work—they’re great to use in the late-afternoon before I head out to the gym. These come in three different flavors (orange, lemon, and berry), but the berry is my favorite.
Last but not least, I love their protein snack bars, especially the peanut butter crunch flavor.
I actually ordered a box of these to keep on-hand after trying them for a previous Designer Whey campaign. If you’re a peanut butter lover, you need to try them! They’re hands-down one of my favorite snack bars because they actually take the edge off of my hunger. You can also find them in chocolate and caramel flavors.
Although they’re not one of my personal staples, Chris also really likes the ready-to-drink shakes.
(You might have seen his stamp of approval on Instagram last week!) They’re especially convenient if you need something right away after a workout and don’t feel like dirtying the blender!
I was so happy to be introduced to Designer Whey in 2013, and can’t wait to incorporate their products into a healthy 2014!
Have you ever tried Designer Whey products? Which is your favorite? Which flavor of protein powder—chocolate, vanilla or strawberry?
