The following post is sponsored by FitFluential LLC on behalf of FRS.
I actually first tried and reviewed FRS products way back in January, but the products I was sent recently were (mostly) new-to-me.
But, before I get ahead of myself, perhaps I should go over what makes FRS different from other run-of-the-mill energy drinks.
What I like most about FRS is that it delivers a sustained boost of energy—it’s not a product that produces a sudden burst, then leaves me feeling lethargic just a few hours later. It’s also packed with vitamins, green tea extracts, and antioxidants—specifically quercetin (more on that in a minute!).
FRS was developed by scientists and helps provide sustained energy and endurance, as well as immune system support. Heading into cold and flu season, I’ll take all the immune system support I can get! It’s also not just for “serious” athletes. Heck, I would never go so far as to call myself an athlete, but I still reap the benefits of this product!
Okay, so I mentioned quercetin, but many of you might be wondering what exactly quercetin is. It’s an antioxidant that’s found in many fruits and vegetables including blueberries, apples, and grapes. This ingredient is key in providing sustained energy.
Now that you’ve got a little background on what goes into the products, let’s take a look at what I was sent to sample…
First up, the Healthy Energy Cans —
I was sent several flavors to try, including apricot nectarine, wild berry, peach mango, orange (both “regular” and low-cal), and citrus pomegranate.
The first thing to know about these products – besides all of the good stuff that they’re filled with! – is to not let the color scare you! The quercetin makes the products appear bright yellow – which seems a little unusual – but this, of course, doesn’t impact the taste.
My favorites were the low-cal peach mango, and low-cal wild berry. I shared a few with Chris, and he seemed to favor the orange.
Overall, there wasn’t a bad flavor in the bunch! The only one we weren’t totally crazy over was the apricot nectarine, but that’s just personal preference and it definitely didn’t go to waste or anything.
I was also sent a box of Healthy Energy Powder packets —
These packets are available in wild berry, lemon lime, and orange. I was sent the wild berry (my favorite!) and I love the convenience of these packets. They’re great to keep in a purse or desk drawer for when you need a quick pick-me-up.
Last but not least Health Energy Soft Chews —
These were one of my favorite products when I tried FRS back in January, and I still can’t get enough. They’re another great on-the-go product; I turn to these when I need something quick as I’m running between work and the gym. I had the pomegranate blueberry flavor, but they’re also available in orange and pineapple mango. (FRS also has hard shell chews, too, if that’s more your thing!)
Are you ready to try FRS for yourself? One reader will win an FRS trial pack, valued at $30 (open to US residents only, sorry!). To enter, visit the FRS website and leave a comment telling me which product you’d like to try. This giveaway runs until Thursday, 9/12 at 12:00PM EST. A winner will be announced Thursday evening.
Before I sign off for the night, I’ve got two other things for you guys to check out…
