Look at me… 4 days in a row of blogging! Usually my mojo tapers off mid-week, but I just had to share with you all what I made for dinner tonight.
I’m always so pleased with myself when I actually make something that I’ve pinned on Pinterest! I’ll go through pinning sprees where I’ll add a million different things to my Looks Yummy board, only to never think of them again.
This week, however, I visited my most favorite Pinterest board for meal planning inspiration.
I wish I could link to the website/blog that originally posted this “recipe,” but Pinterest is blocking it for me since it’s “unsafe.” Good looking out.
Anyway, all you have to do is combine 1 packet ranch dressing mix, 1 packet Italian dressing mix and 1 packet brown gravy mix with 1 cup water. Then, simply pour the mixture over your roast and let it cook for 7-8 hours on low.
I’m pretty clueless when it comes to shopping for meat, so I just picked something that had the word “roast” on the sticker and went for it. 😉
This was so simple to throw together; I’d even have time to do it if I were rushing out the door (which I usually am!).
After I got home from BodyPump, I didn’t feel like making any “elaborate” side dishes, so I just served up some of the roast on a whole wheat bun and ate a few cracker chips on the side… quick and not much to look at, but it hit the spot.
