Product Review: Love Grown

Early last week (in the midst of all the rain), I came home to find a package stuffed with goodies from Love Grown Foods.

You can (& should!) read the story of Love Grown Foods here!

I received three flavors of granola to sample:

  • Sweet Cranberry Pecan – gluten-free toasted oats, honey, agave, dried cranberries, & pecans.
  • Apple Walnut Delight – gluten-free toasted oats, honey, agave, dried apples, & walnuts.
  • Raisin Almond Crunch – gluten-free toasted oats, honey, agave, raisins, & almonds.

I also received sample-size bags of the Sweet Cranberry Pecan (I gave this to my sister to “spread the love” as the company encourages! ;-)), Apple Walnut Delight, & Cocoa Goodness.

Each flavor of granola is free of:

  • Refined sugar
  • Trans fats
  • Artificial flavors
  • Gluten
  • High fructose corn syrup
  • Hydrogenated oils
  • Preservatives
  • Genetically modified ingredients

One thing the granola is not free of? Flavor!

I also wanted to share the impressive nutrition stats. Each flavor has only 6 grams of fat & 130 calories per 1/4 c. serving, which is much more reasonable than many other granola brands.

My favorite thing about the granola? The flavors aren’t simply “flavors”; rather, you can see real cranberries, pecans, walnuts, almonds, etc. in the granola! You can tell that you’re eating something truly good for you; not just a product that claims to be “healthy.”

While it’s impossible for me to choose a favorite flavor, I think it would be expected that I was slightly partial to the Apple Walnut Delight flavor (you might have noticed, I incorporate walnuts into a lot of meals, especially sweets!).

If you’re a granola fan, you should definitely check out Love Grown Foods!

Have you ever tried Love Grown granola before? What flavor sounds most appealing to you? (They also offer a “Simply Oats” flavor.)
